Receipts were 2380, including 583 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 1797 yearlings and calves.  Packer cows was $1 to $3 higher. Packer bulls was $1 to $2 higher. Market on replacement cows and pairs was steady to last week’s high market. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under was $3 to $5 higher. Feeder steers and heifers weighing over 500# was $2 to $4 higher. We had a good run of cattle with the good quality cattle bring top money.

Feeder steers and heifers weighing over 500# was $3 to $5 higher. Everyone got a good rain and they are looking for cattle.

Market on replacement cows and pairs were $75-$100 higher with a good demand on the better kind. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under was $4 to $6 higher. Feeder steers and heifers weighing over 500# was $2 to $4 higher. The market on the packer cows and bulls was cheaper today due to the packing plants getting a lot of cows from up north. The calf market keeps on getting higher every week.
