Receipts were 1525, including 504 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 1021 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were steady to $2 lower. Packer bulls were steady. Replacement cows, pairs & bulls were steady to $300 higher. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under steady. Feeder steers, bulls and heifers weighing over 500# were steady to $5 lower. We had a good replacement cow & bull sale today

65 Blk Cows: 3-6 yrs old, 4-8 mths bred, with 20 calves on the ground

40 Blk Hfrs: 5-7 mths bred

10 Blk Pair: 3-5 yrs old, with a nice set of calves

10 Blk Cows: 3-5 yrs old, 7-8 mths bred

17 Blk Cows: with first babies at their side

30 Char Cows: 5-6 yrs old, with 20 calves & the rest heavy bred

25 Fancy Blk Hfrs: 7-8 mths bred

14 Blk Angus Bulls: 18-24 mths old

7 Char Bulls: 18-24 mths old

8 Red Angus Bulls: 18-24 mths old, these are Rob Brown Bulls

6 Char Cross Bulls: 18 mths old

6 Red Angus Bulls: 16 mths old

3 Sem Angus Bulls: 24 mths old

1 Horn Hereford Bull: 2 yrs old

1 Poll Hereford Bull: 2 yrs old

All cows will be aged and pregnancy tested by a local veterinarian. All bulls will be fertility and trich tested before the sale. These cattle can be viewed by 3:00 pm, Sunday, December 13, 2015. All Bulls will be sold at the beginning of the sale.

Receipts were 1635, including 290 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 1345 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were $4-$6 lower. Packer bulls were $3-$5 lower. We did not have enough bred cows & pairs to test the market. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under $9-$10 lower on the better quality calves, $10-$15 lower on the plainer calves. Feeder steers, bulls and heifers weighing over 500# were $10-$12 lower on the better quality yearlings, $12-15 lower on the plainer yearlings. The market was lower today due to the board continuing to be down the limit.
