Receipts were 1181, including 310 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 871 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were $2-$5 lower. Packer bulls were $2-$4 lower. Market on replacement cows and pairs were steady to $100 higher on the better quality cows. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were $2-$4 higher on the better kind. Feeder steers and heifers weighing over 500# were steady. The buyers are getting very picky on the quality of cattle they are buying.
