Receipts were 1672 including 342 packer cows, bred cows and pairs and 1330 yearlings and calves. We had 166 consignors and 44 buyers. Packer cows were $2 to $4 lower. Packer bulls were $1 to $3 lower. Young replacement cows and pairs were steady. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were steady on the better-quality calves. Feeder steers, bulls & heifers weighing over 500# were steady on the better conditioned yearlings. The market was steady on all classes of calves and yearlings. We are still needing more rain for the wheat to grow.
