Receipts were 781, including 121 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 660 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were $3-$4 lower. Packer bulls were steady. Market on replacement cows and pairs were steady on a light test. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were $5-$7 lower. Feeder steers and heifers weighing over 500# were $4-$7 lower. The market is still lower this week due to the board being down again all last week.

Feeder steers and heifers weighing over 500# were $6-$12 lower. The market was lower on all classes of cattle with the feeder cattle taking the biggest hit. They really hammered on the board last week.

Market on replacement cows and pairs was steady with a light test. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under was steady with a good demand. Feeder steers and heifers weighing over 500# was steady to $2 lower compared to the high market before the holiday break. We had a light run today due to the weather. The market was strong for the way the board has been fluctuating.
