Receipts were 1786 including 332 packer cows, bred cows and pairs and 1454 yearlings and calves. We had 226 consignors and 57 buyers. Packer cows were $3 to $5 higher on the high-yielding cows and steady on the low-yielding cows. Packer bulls were $4 to $5 higher on the high-yielding bulls and steady on the low yielding bulls. Young replacement cows and pairs were $100 to $150 higher on the young and better-quality cows. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were $3 to $5 lower. Feeder steers, bulls & heifers weighing over 500# were $4 to $6 lower. The market was lower on all classes of calves and yearlings due to the board being down the limit on the fats and feeder cattle.

Young replacement cows and pairs were steady. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were $10 to $15 higher on the weaned calves and $8 to $10 higher on the non-weaned calves. Feeder steers, bulls & heifers weighing over 500# were $6 to $8 higher higher on the weaned yearlings and $5 to $7 higher on the non-weaned yearlings. We had a good run of cattle today with the market being higher on all classes of cattle.
