Receipts were 2689 including 435 packer cows, bred cows and pairs and 2254 yearlings and calves. We had 279 consignors and 56 buyers. Packer cows were $2 to $3 higher on the higher-yielding cows. Packer bulls were $1 to $2 higher on the higher-yielding bulls. The market was steady on the better-bred cows and pairs. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were steady with active bidding. Feeder steers, bulls & heifers weighing over 500# were steady. Feeder steers, bulls & heifers weighing over 500# were $3 to $5 higher on the weaned yearlings and steady on the non-weaned yearlings. We had a good run of cattle today with the market being stronger on the weaned cattle.
