Receipts were 2229, including 371 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 1858 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were $5-$10 lower. Packer bulls were $3-$6 lower. Market on replacement cows and pairs were steady on a light test of good, young cows. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were $5-$10 lower but still with a good demand. Feeder steers and heifers weighing over 500# were $6-$12 lower. The market was lower on all classes of cattle with the feeder cattle taking the biggest hit. They really hammered on the board last week.
