Receipts were 1242, including 240 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 1002 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were steady. Packer bulls were steady with the high yielding bulls being $4 to $5 higher. The replacement bred cows and pairs were steady to $75 higher. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were steady with a good demand. Feeder steers, bulls and heifers weighing over 500# were steady but $10 higher on the weaned yearlings. The market was steady to a little higher to last week’s market.
