 Receipts were 852, including 127 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 725 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were $1 to $3 higher. Packer bulls were $4 to $6 higher. Market on replacement cows and pairs were $50 to $75 higher. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were steady with very active bidding. Feeder steers and heifers weighing over 500# were steady. We had a good market today, with packer cows and bulls being higher.

All cows will be aged and pregnancy tested by a local veterinarian. We will be selling only cows that are long toothed and younger.  Any cows over long toothed will be sold at Monday’s regular sale.  All bulls will be fertility and tric tested before the sale.  These cattle can be viewed by  3:00 pm, Sunday, March 16, 2014.  All Bulls will be sold at the beginning of the sale.
