Receipts were 505, including 117 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 388 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were $5 to $8 higher. Packer bulls were steady to $4 higher. Bred cows were steady with a good demand. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under was steady to $3 higher. Feeder steers and heifers weighing over 500# were steady to $2 higher. If anyone has any culling to do on their cows, now is the time to sell at the high price that they are bringing.
