Receipts were 2334, including 545 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 1789 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were $3 to $5 higher. Packer bulls were $1 to $3 higher. Market on replacement cows and pairs were $100 to $125 higher. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were $5 to $10 higher. Feeder steers and heifers weighing over 500# were $3 to $5 higher. It is dry and the cattle are coming to town. The market is getting higher every week.
