Receipts were 1605 including 434 packer cows, bred cows and pairs and 1171 yearlings and calves. We had 135 consignors and 54 buyers. Packer cows were steady to last week’s higher market. Packer bulls were steady. The market was steady on the bred cows and pairs. Market on steers & heifers weighing under 500# were $2 to $5 higher. Feeder steers & heifers weighing over 500# were $2 to $4 higher. We had a good run of cattle today with the better-quality steers and heifers being higher.
