Receipts were 1712, including 219 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 1493 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were $2 to $4 lower. Packer bulls were $3 to $5 lower. We did not have enough bred cows & pairs to test the market. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were steady to $5 lower on the better quality calves and $10 to $15 lower on the plainer cattle. Feeder steers, bulls and heifers weighing over 500# were $10 to $15 lower. The market was lower today on all classes of cattle due to the board of trade being down the limit for the last four days.
