Receipts were 522, including 105 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 417 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were $3 to $5 higher. Packer bulls were $4 to $5 higher. Market on bred cows and pairs were $100 higher on better quality cows. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were $5 to $10 higher. Feeder steers, bulls and heifers weighing over 500# were $4 to $7 higher. We had a good rain this week causing a shorter sale. The market was higher on all classes of cattle.
