Receipts were 1635, including 290 packer cows, bred cows and pairs, 1345 yearlings and calves. Packer cows were $4-$6 lower. Packer bulls were $3-$5 lower. We did not have enough bred cows & pairs to test the market. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under $9-$10 lower on the better quality calves, $10-$15 lower on the plainer calves. Feeder steers, bulls and heifers weighing over 500# were $10-$12 lower on the better quality yearlings, $12-15 lower on the plainer yearlings. The market was lower today due to the board continuing to be down the limit.
